Cute Halloween writing paper with border of ghosts
Don’t you just love it, when kids start to make up their own stories? I most certainly do! It’s so much fun to hear them talk about their fantasy world and to wonder how their minds and imagination develop.
Experts agree that reading and telling stories is beneficial to the child’s development in many ways. It enriches their world, prompts them to think and makes them more considerate towards others, as they have been reading about other kids or animals in different situations.
How much fun would it be to write their stories om paper? Would it not be great to encourage them to write a super scary story for Halloween and send it to a friend (think snail mail!)? Be sure to download the Halloween writing paper with a border of ghosts here – great for inspiration!
Encourage your child to write a story about ghosts, vampires, witches or black cats. It does not need to be scary – perhaps a funny story about a friendship between a ghost and a black cat? He could write to a friend, the grandparents or.. you! A bed time story for mom! “Mom, I hope you can still fall asleep after reading this story..”
What does the template show?
The paper displays an army of cute ghosts (they do not look scary, trust me, it’s suitable for young kids) that line the paper (the border of the page). In the center you will find lines that look like crayon (just to give it that Halloween look), so essentially it’s lined piece of paper, dressed up with ghosts.
Grunge or clean?
I couldn’t decide whether I preferred the ‘clean’ look of the ghosts or the grungy look, so I provide both. I think the grungy look is more spooky, more ‘Halloween” (more ‘wear and tear’), but the cute little ghosts are irresistible and more pronounced in the ‘clean’ look. Anyway, just have a look and decide. Which one do you prefer?
