Real snow cones
Hurray – with the New Year came the snow. Finally! The kids did not even bother to change from their pyjamas into sensible cloths, but jumped straight into their boots and ran into the backyard to play. After running around for a bit and attempts to start snow ball fights, we collected toys from the sand pit. It surprised the kids a little that the sand pit toys could be used for.. not sand! It did not take them long to try and explore the toys with snow. Easy and fun winter activity!
The kids loved to experiment, pressing the snow into moulds, making shapes and building castles (or, more accurately: heaps of mountains). But despite these well-intentioned educational sensory play activities, the plain old ice cones won the popularity vote. By far!
Setup
Simply put in a snow request for the Weathergods. Enquiries entered before 3pm are generally processed (though not guaranteed) for next day delivery.
Present plastic & wooden toys to the kids and watch them explore and play! Dry them afterwards (kids & toys..)
